In response to the Mississippi water crisis, Maisie led efforts to deliver drinking water to residents who couldn't reach the city's distribution centers. Her work during this crisis has been featured in several publications, highlighting her commitment to her community. Maisie is also involved in advocating for period equity through her work with organizations like 601 for Period Equity, addressing the need for change in state policies and universities.

Tarana Burke is an American activist and business executive who has made significant contributions to addressing sexual violence and advocating for marginalized communities, particularly Black women and girls. She launched initiatives around issues such as racial discrimination, housing inequality, and economic justice. Tarana's career took an intentional turn toward supporting survivors of sexual violence. Tarana's vision extends beyond any hashtag or viral moment. She continues to fight against systemic issues disproportionately affecting marginalized communities.
